Universal Sundial, Scientific Instrument called Astronomical Ring, perfect as a decorative element. It belongs to the so-called universal Equatorial Solar Quadrant. Its history dates back to the 18th century, when its use became widespread. It is composed of an adjustable ring for various latitudes, a meridian ring with the latitude scale, a folding hour ring and a slotted central ruler, with the graduation of the months, on which a small perforated cylinder moves.
